Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones, reverse in where possible
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school
- walk your students to and from the school gate.
Picking up students at the end of the day
To ensure the safety of all, please collect your students at the school gate and accompany them to your vehicle at the end of the school day.
Contact us if you are running late so we can let your student know you are on your way.
Riding a bike or scooter to school
All students need a helmet when riding their bikes/scooters. Please check that straps on helmets are firm when clipped up.
Lower primary students (Kindergarten, Years 1 and 2) riding bikes/scooters to school should be supervised by an adult.
Students reported for unsafe riding habits may be asked to leave their bikes at home.
Please model safe riding behaviours for your child.
Bikes/scooters are to be kept in the bike rack during school hours and are out of bounds at recess and lunch.
